A peachy time in November at Imaginarium Designs

Hoping you have been able to get some time to create over the last month. This month was a challenge and a half for me...peach...definitely not a colour I use or love...but surprise surprise I actually became inspired by the colour and ideas flowed easier than I thought.

The pages of this journal page were firstly sealed with white gesso. When very dry I used my fingers to combined yellow and pink Dusty Attic acrylic paint to make peach across the pages. Gesso over the heart and clock stencils blended and softened the colour over the page. The patterned edge around the page was created by dipping the edge of the scalloped edged tag into the grey acrylic paint and a burgundy paint being used to cover the 'Time flies' and 'frame' chippie. Black paint mixture in a fine tipped bottle was used to make the black circular lines around the photos. Old lace, gold pointer stickers and paint splats finished the page.

Imaginarium Design products used included:
Clock Face Stencil IDMM003
Heart Stencil IDMM001
Five tags in a board IDS0064
Leah Frame IDFR0034
Time flies when you're having fun IDP0064

It's a journal type of day, here's another.... I used stencils and the chippie negatives as stencils on this background.

I mixed my own peach colour using pink and pale yellow acrylic and smeared it across my gesso covered pages. Gel medium was placed over the cross stencil and let to dry. Using blue and yellow acrylic and the negatives of circles and arrow chippie. Stamping and pen scribbling edging borders the page, circles, arrows and crosses. The finishing touch was adding one of Fiona Paltridges Little Peeps Aall&create stamp sets.

Loolabelle's nested Arrows IDDL0018

My last share is a layout using patterned paper, the paper was very bright so adding a coat of gesso in a range of thicknesses softens but not totally covers the pattern. This is a simple page incorporating Imaginarium Designs chippie and layers of paper.

The colours of peach and pink were added using a roller. I constructed layers of coloured and book page papers to place under the photo and the tag with twig chippie painted with brown paint. The title was made with a combination of chippie letters and #wonderful.

Chippie used include:

IDFL0013 twigs
Isobel Uppercase case alphabet IDA009
Isobel lower case IDA0010
IDW0094 #instagram etc.
Hope you have enjoyed my latest ideas and have a go at some of the new ways I have used the chip board and stencils at Imaginarium Designs.
