Imaginarium Designs November Creations

Hi everyone wow how the year is flying and it's time to share my months creations using our wonderful Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

My first creation is one that I made using our November Theme, black cardstock and white gesso giving the page a striking effect.

The first piece of chipboard I used I kept raw and stamped onto it with Distress ink, the Now arrow was covered with grey acrylic and the steam punk clock was covered with silver metallic melts from Tinby Designs.

Imaginarium Designs are sponsoring an amazing challenge over at Kraft+ this month, I am one of the guest designer this month to show case our wonderful chipboard. This is Kraft+ think BIG challenge and my big element was 'Larry the Lobster' at Kingston SE SA, the photo was taken on the day of my sisters wedding when we posed under Larry for some of the celebrationary photos, we love Kingston and took every opportunity to visit our grandparents at every opportunity.

My 12x12 Kraft page was rolled with red acrylic page before using black acrylic paint with a flower stencil over it. When dry I traced the flower sections with a white out pen. The ID chipboard was painted with black and white acrylic paint. The white painted chipboard was rubbed with silver metallic wax. The writing was done with 13@rts black acrylic paint in a fine tipped Fineliner and the large photo of Larry the Lobster with us those tiny spot at the base was framed with white wire.

My third and final share today is the November page in my Imaginarium Designs Journal I started in January. This is the last page in my Journal so stay tuned for my cover in December to complete my first year of growth as a design team member here at Imaginarium Designs.

The Live for today was painted with a coat of white acrylic paint and then painted with brilliant watercolours; jade and orange. The honeycomb chippie was primed with spray white gesso and then painted with orange watercolour. I used the 'Chase your dreams' chipboard as a mask spraying Dylusions white ink over the top of the words and then removing them to be used in another projects. the background was made by using my fingers to spread green, lime and yellow acrylic paint then dribbles of Jade watercolour paint.

November Guest Designer at Kraft+

Over at Kraft+ this month the theme is Think BIG.

I love entering Kraft+ and their unique challenges and this one was a fun one to do.

Current Challenge

Here is my take on this fantastic challenge:

My big element is 'Larry the Lobster' inclusion in my sisters wedding photos. Kingston SE SA is my mum's home town and Larry has always had a special place in our hearts.

The Chipboard pieces I've used are:

the big 'Mr & Mrs' IDP0189,

'Cross Hatch' IDD0056,

 'Loolabelles circular cross hatch' IDD0025,

  'Lou's heart shapes' IDD0070,

and were painted with Prima Mica powder Gold Opal Magic or Black Gesso.

I placed the photo and chipboard onto a background of red acrylic paint I had rolled onto my 12"x12" Kraft cardstock and stenciled flowers edged with a white-out pen  added over top the red.

Thanks for popping by, hope I have inspired you to join in the fun this month over at Kraft +
