Imaginarium Designs Chipboard September Share.

Hi everyone, Great to be back this month to share my latest art work for Imaginarium Designs Chipboard. It's been a busy month but the call of my art room is as always too strong and this month I have done an extra piece of work in my journal. 

My journal is getting full and I've worked out I have just the right amount of the pages for a full year yay!! Wasn't planned I can guarantee you but works out really well.

My journal pages for Sept includes a intro page using my favourite colours and one showing my amazing eldest daughter. 

On this first page I used the chipboard backing card from the packing to highlight the title of my journal and used the love hearts which were covered with 13@rts Splash ink.

This time I used gold, blue and deep red acrylic paint  and gesso to cover the chipboard on this page. Adding the gold as a base, sponging the blue and then used my fingers to spread the white gesso over to soften the look.

This page is of my youngest daughter and one of her best friends back in their school days. Seemed so long ago, can't believe how grown up they are now. The chipboard flowers and title were coated in an old gold acrylic paint and the leaves 'Brushed sage' Distress ink using a sponge applicator.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard August Creations.

Hi everyone hope you all have a great month and had lots of fun creating and trying a few new techniques inspired by our amazing design team. 

I have been exploring a new technique myself; I've been experimenting with Imaginarium Design Chipboard, Fiona Paltridge's Aall&Create stencil and my new gelli plate. It's been great, a little messy but lots of fun printing on both old book pages and deli paper.

 

My first share is my journal page which was created using acrylic paint, my gelli plate book pages and chipboard painted with lime and red. This latest journal work has been inspired by workshops I attended by my very talented friend Fiona Paltridge.

My second piece is made from one of my deli paper page which I attached to a 12" x 12" canvas. I used Loolabelle's love arrows and Nat's hand drawn leaves during the printing process as templates and masks. The pieces of Chipboard I used on the page were painted with acrylic paint- rose and teal and black gesso for the cut down cross hatch chipboard.

My last creation also used another page of deli paper printed with stencils and Loolabelles arrows. This time I tore off the sections with the arrows stencils/masks print on it. The chipboard I used on the page was painted by white gesso, red and black acrylic paint.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard July Creations

Hi everyone, Wow how fast is the year going it's hard to believe we are in the second part of the year already. It's been a busy time for us all and I hope you have been able to get into your craft areas and have fun creating your own pieces of art. I'd love to share with you what I've been creating lately.

My first creation was a layout with a sweet feminine feel.I used a layer of white gesso to soften the paper and then sprayed some Lindy's Stamp Gang ink sprays. 

I used Flourishes were covered with Versa ink 'Indigo' and title with 'Evergreen'. The bike was covered with a combo of a deep crimson and black acrylic paint. I used the 'Evergreen' to also cover the frame before covering it with Metallic Melts embossing powder. The small love heart was painted with Dina Wakley Scribble sticks and water.

My second layout is a simple but striking page of my scrapping buddy Fiona Paltridge and myself ; birds of a feather we are. I couldn't wait to use her new stunning stamp range to do this page stamping the feather stamp onto white 12x12 cardstock with StazOn and then tearing some of the cardstock off to make a strip to be placed on the red. I then used Dina Wakley scribble sticks and lots of water to paint over the feather layering the colour until happy.

The cut the frame into 2 pieces and then covered it with Verra Ink 'Black' and the feather in 'Silver'.

The selfie chipboard was covered in spray gesso.

My last share is my latest addition my Imaginarium Journal book. 'Travel Destination'. We regularly go to camping shows and at the Adelaide one last year we came across a caravan through the ages display. This one took my eye so cute.

The chipboard titles were painted with red Dina Wakley scribble sticks with the frame painted in black acrylic paint. The banner was covered with Kaisercraft 6x6 paper and cut out after glue was dry with the edges scribbled around with a fine Sharpie pen.
